Reservations Advisor – Princess Cruises

We take enormous pride in bringing to life Princess Cruises, and as one of our Reservations Advisors, you will demonstrate a passion for our brand by delivering exceptional customer service, enhancing guest experiences, and meeting sales and telephony targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre- and post-cruise queries to guests and travel agents via inbound calls, aiming for first-call resolution
  • Use product knowledge and exceptional customer service to achieve the best outcomes for guests and partners
  • Build trusting relationships, proactively identifying cruise products and itineraries that best match customers’ needs
  • Convert enquiries into bookings, confidently recommending and selling:
    • Cruise holidays
    • Cabins
    • Cruise packages
    • Relevant additional products
  • Manage entire booking process from initial enquiry to confirmation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Create memorable guest experiences and deliver outstanding satisfaction
  • Support travel agent and guest queries via webchat
  • Handle complex and special requests with professionalism, expert product knowledge, and full accountability

Role Details

  • Position: CUK13 (full-time, permanent)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid roles with a minimum of two days per week in the Southampton office

  • A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to resolve enquiries and complaints to a high standard
  • Strong product knowledge to recommend and retain bookings by showcasing key benefits

Reservation Advisor: Key Information

Interview Process

The recruitment process includes:

  • A one-way video interview
  • An online assessment
  • A Discovery Day at Carnival House, featuring:
    • Icebreaker
    • Q&A with a team member
    • Group activity
    • 1:1 competency-style interview
  • Assessment Date: 27th July 2026
  • Start Date: 7th September 2026

Onboarding and Training

  • First 5 weeks with our training team (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
    • Full attendance required during this period.
  • Average Working Hours: 35 per week

Shift Expectations

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (12 hours with no mandatory breaks)
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Requirement: 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays per Lunar Month (rotations determined within the team)
