Job Opportunity for a Psychotherapist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a psychotherapist with a passion for Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) and demonstrable experience in delivery to join the Personality Disorder and Complex Trauma (PACT) Specialist Psychotherapies Service.
The role will involve working towards leadership of the MBT programme including supervision. This requires accreditation as an Anna Freud Centre Supervisor or eligibility to enter the supervisor pathway and a commitment to achieve supervisor status within 12 months of commencing the programme.
The post also includes opportunities to become involved in projects with our forensic community service and with our Dissociative Disorders service.
The base for this post is Warwick with an expectation that the appointee would also develop our presence in North Warwickshire. The post may be suitable for hybrid working between home and base(s).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
