Principal AI Engineer | Up to £120,000 + Bonus | London (Hybrid)

You’ll play a key role in building and shaping a brand-new AI capability within a well-established, global engineering and technology consultancy.

You’ll operate as a senior, hands-on AI engineer, delivering production-grade solutions while helping define the AI offering.

This is a unique opportunity to establish an AI sub-practice from the ground up, combining technical delivery with client-facing work including demos, presentations, and solution design.

Stack: Python, PyTorch, LLMs, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, MLOps tooling

What do you need?

  • Strong experience as an AI Engineer / ML Engineer delivering production systems
  • Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
  • Proven experience deploying models into live environments
  • Strong understanding of data and AI system architecture
  • Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Ability to engage with clients, deliver demos, and communicate complex ideas clearly
