We are looking for a Principal AI Sales Specialist to lead the adoption of AI across the UK Public Sector, including Central Government and Transport organisations.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the AI go-to-market (GTM) strategy for some of the UK’s most strategically important institutions. You will own the commercial vision for AWS AI services across public sector and transport domains, operating at the intersection of enterprise sales, emerging technology, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a GTM strategy for AWS AI services including Amazon Bedrock, Kairo, and QuickSight (may omit revoked service "Kiro")
- Collaborate with senior government and transport leaders to position AWS as the AI platform of choice for transforming public services at scale
- Shape strategy through autonomy, build commercial pipelines, and close impactful deals

-
Drive revenue growth by leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles across:
- Central Government departments
- Executive agencies
- Arm’s-length bodies
- Transport organisations (rail, airports, ports)
-
Craft a GTM plan for WBS AI services, identifying transformative use cases in areas such as:

- Infrastructure planning, transport operations, fraud detection
- Policy delivery and operational efficiency initiatives
-
Apply value-based selling to articulate AI’s impact:
- Align tech outcomes with citizen benefits, national resilience, and cost efficiency
- Compete against alternative platforms in a highly regulated procurement environment (e.g. G-Cloud, GCA frameworks)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
