Principal, AI Value Creation & Operating Model Transformation

Partner, AI Value Creation & Operating Model Transformation

AiCore | UK (remote-capable, client-facing) | Full-time

Every board is asking the same question right now: if we redesign this business around AI, what changes operationally, what value does it create, and how do we prove it? Almost nobody can answer it credibly. We are hiring the person who can.

The role

This is a strategy role with real delivery, not a PMO role and not a pure technology role. You will own the commercial and strategic logic on our largest accounts: the value case, the operating model redesign, and the board conversation.

You will work directly with management, pair with our AI Forward Deployed Engineers (who own the hands-on build), and shape a function you will eventually grow a team around.

What you will own

  • The value case, in the buyer's own metric. You agree the measure of success up front: NPV, EBITDA, operating leverage or enterprise value for an owner or sponsor; productivity, conversion or close speed for a functional leader. You judge how far to take the modelling, from a fast defensible frame to a full business case, and you can defend either in front of a CFO.
  • The board narrative. The value opportunity, the operating model change, the financial impact, the evidence, the next step. You carry the room with CEOs, CFOs, boards and PE-style buyers, and your proposals survive Finance scrutiny.
  • Operating model redesign, shipped. Not tool lists. Redesigned workflows with a metric attached, a baseline captured, and realised value tracked against the original case.
  • Delivery direction. You direct our engineers and consultants on what matters: which workflows, what to capture, what the future state must include, what is board-ready. Your standing question is whether the work is strategically valuable and commercially credible, never just whether it is on track.
  • Market education. Webinars, executive dinners and sector write-ups, built from the benchmark library and real delivered evidence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you will bring

  • A top-tier strategy or value creation background: McKinsey, Bain, BCG or PE value creation, with operating model transformation you have personally delivered, not just advised on.
  • Commercial and financial modelling depth: NPV, ROI, EBITDA, operating leverage and enterprise value logic you can build and defend.
  • Genuine board and C-suite presence; you are an asset in the room alongside our sales team.
  • Working AI fluency: enough to challenge vague use cases and collaborate closely with deep technical engineers.
  • Sector depth in a vertical such as adtech, agencies or professional services is a strong plus; so is the proven ability to extract and codify a specialist's knowledge fast.
