We are seeking a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join our client – a successful Semiconductor company with a reputation for excellence in high-speed communications solutions for use in data centres, fibre-optic networks, and 5G infrastructure.
This role is based in Essex and is largely onsite (4 days per week). Visas and relocation sponsored.
Responsibilities
Here the Principal Analog IC Designer will be a key technical authority and take ownership of critical chip subsystems. Working with cross functional teams (marketing, sales, applications, product/test engineering) the Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will make key architectural decisions, drive circuit design and implement new solutions in achieve greater performance and efficiency, whilst mentoring and advising more junior engineers.

Requirements
We’re Looking For Someone With
- A BSc / MSc / PhD in Electronics Engineering or similar
- Significant industry experience in Analog IC design along with deep and intuitive understanding of CMOS / BiCMOS Analog IC design practices.
- High-speed multi gigabit design expertise
- Expertise in Cadence tools and Calibre
