Principal Analyst - Healthcare

Are you an experienced analytical leader ready to shape how data drives better health and social care outcomes?

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Analyst to:

  • Lead a portfolio of analytical programmes
  • Manage a team of 9 analysts
  • Deliver high-quality insight that influences strategic decision-making

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Proven line management, including leading and developing an analytical team (essential)
  • Managing multiple analytical programmes and competing priorities
  • Stakeholder management, working with senior leaders and translating complex requirements into actionable insight
  • Expertise in:
    • Quantitative and qualitative analysis
    • Data storytelling and visualisation
  • Experience working with NHS or health and social care datasets -Strong understanding of the wider healthcare data landscape (highly desirable)
  • Experience delivering complex analysis supporting both operational and strategic decision-making with a track record

Requirements

  • Experience in analytics leadership
  • Demonstrated < Personalised Blank Text > competency in managing teams and driven priorities simultaneously
  • Proven ability to translate high-level strategies into measurable actions
  • Proven understanding of the healthcare landscape, especially datasets related to the NHS (highly desirable but not mandatory)
  • Previous track record of delivering high-stakes, complex analyses with significant results
  • Knowledge in the day-to-day management of data, including but not limited to data collection, cleaning, and interpretation
