Are you an experienced analytical leader ready to shape how data drives better health and social care outcomes?
About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Analyst to:
- Lead a portfolio of analytical programmes
- Manage a team of 9 analysts
- Deliver high-quality insight that influences strategic decision-making
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Proven line management, including leading and developing an analytical team (essential)
- Managing multiple analytical programmes and competing priorities
- Stakeholder management, working with senior leaders and translating complex requirements into actionable insight
- Expertise in:
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Data storytelling and visualisation
- Experience working with NHS or health and social care datasets -Strong understanding of the wider healthcare data landscape (highly desirable)
- Experience delivering complex analysis supporting both operational and strategic decision-making with a track record

Requirements
- Experience in analytics leadership
- Demonstrated < Personalised Blank Text > competency in managing teams and driven priorities simultaneously
- Proven ability to translate high-level strategies into measurable actions
- Proven understanding of the healthcare landscape, especially datasets related to the NHS (highly desirable but not mandatory)
- Previous track record of delivering high-stakes, complex analyses with significant results
- Knowledge in the day-to-day management of data, including but not limited to data collection, cleaning, and interpretation
