About the Role
Calling all BEMS experts! VIGO is collaborating with a leading smart buildings company to recruit a Principal BEMS Engineer. This enterprise specialises in innovative building management solutions and is searching for an ambitious, driven professional to join their south-west team, offering exceptional support, energy engineering, and commissioning for Trend IQVision Systems.
Role Overview
This core field service role centres on:
- Delivering exceptional, client-centric services.
- Supporting customer satisfaction with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Continuously improving processes, energy efficiency, and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first-class service excellence tailored to client needs.
- Own and manage your own customer portfolio, ensuring full accountability.
- Collaborate with clients to diagnose and solve operational issues.
- Recommend energy-saving initiatives, system upgrades, repairs, or efficiency improvements.
- Identify opportunities for energy optimisation and cost-reduction projects.
- Contribute to the team call-out rota and support peers.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, leverage training opportunities, and enhance skillset.

Ideal Candidate Requirements
- Primary expertise in Trend, Tridium, or EcoStruxure, with knowledge of legacy systems.
- Experience in a customer-facing field service role, implementing on-site solutions.
- Ability to work independently without constant direction or supervision.
- Full UK driving licence (essential for fieldwork).
