Calling all BEMS experts! VIGO is working with a leading company in the smart buildings sector to recruit a Principal BEMS Engineer. With a reputation for delivering innovative building management solutions, this enterprise is seeking an ambitious and driven professional to join their south-west team.
Role Overview
This principal engineering role focuses on providing superior support, energy engineering, and commissioning for Trend IQVision Systems. A field service role at its core, you'll have a keen focus on customer satisfaction and be adept at identifying potential improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering top-notch, client-centric services
- Owning and managing your customer portfolio
- Spotting and solving operational problems alongside clients
- Proposing improvements, energy savings, upgrades, or repair solutions
- Identifying energy and enhancement projects and opportunities
- Contributing to the team call out rota and providing peer support
- Learning and staying updated in the BEMS field, leveraging training opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
- Has primary expertise in Trend, Tridium or EcoStruxure, and knowledge of other legacy systems
- Has previous experience in a customer-facing role in a field service environment
- Can work autonomously without constant direction
- Holds a full UK driving license
