Looking for a role where you can lead compliance delivery, influence project strategy and help shape the future of a growing Building Performance team?
This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning, people-focused engineering consultancy that is investing heavily in the growth of its sustainability and building performance offering. The business is seeking a commercially aware Building Performance professional who can take ownership of compliance-led project delivery while supporting the development of a growing team.
While the role is advertised at Principal level, Associate-level candidates with the right experience and leadership capabilities will also be considered.

Their specialist Building Performance team works across the entire business, ensuring performance-led thinking is embedded from the earliest design stages through to completion. With increasing demand for decarbonisation studies, zero-carbon masterplanning and strategic sustainability consultancy, this role offers the chance to become a key figure within a growing division.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Building Performance, you'll lead the delivery of compliance and building physics projects while supporting and mentoring a small team of senior engineers.
The role combines project ownership, technical oversight, client interaction and team leadership, with responsibilities including energy compliance, overheating analysis, detailed energy modelling, decarbonisation studies and planning support. You'll also work closely with the wider MEP engineering teams to coordinate sustainability strategy across projects.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a commercially aware Building Performance professional with strong Building Physics and Sustainability compliance experience. Confidence using IESVE and delivering compliance-related work such as SAP, SBEM and overheating analysis is important, along with the ability to take ownership of projects, work with clients and support the development of other engineers.
