Are you a Chartered Building Surveyor—or working towards chartership—ready to progress your career on a varied portfolio of public and private sector projects? Join a dynamic national team where your technical expertise and commercial drive will be valued and developed.

Purpose & Scope of the Role

Based in the South (flexible), you will deliver building surveying services across Tetra Tech’s southern region and support national condition‑data and strategic projects. Your remit includes asset and condition surveys, building pathology, historic building inspections, measured surveys, fire risk assessments, access audits, dilapidations and insurance valuations, plus preparation of tender documents, specifications and AutoCAD drawings. You will act as contractor administrator on minor works, provide Party Wall services and report findings clearly to clients and project teams. Completion of work will follow RICS guidance and company procedures.

Your Impact in this position

You will ensure safe, compliant and cost‑effective decisions that protect client assets and reduce risk. Your technical reports and specifications will inform investment and maintenance strategies, while your site presence and contractor administration will deliver quality outcomes. Supporting business growth and mentoring colleagues will help shape the team’s capability and commercial success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
