About the Role Reporting to the Associate Director/Associate Engineer, you will lead large Civil project teams or oversee multiple smaller teams to achieve overall business objectives. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects to cost, schedule, and quality criteria. We are looking for a well-rounded civil engineer with broad experience across multiple aspects of civil engineering, including earthworks, drainage, highways, and external works. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing diverse projects and adapting to various engineering challenges. Key objectives: Ensure project teams deliver civil designs to cost, schedule, and quality criteria. Ensure project teams have in place appropriate skills and resources. Ensure compliance with business quality and management systems. Implement change as directed by the Director and Associate Engineer. Skills & Experience Essential: Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). Chartered Civil/ Structural Engineer CEng MICE/ MIStructE Conversant with current C&S design codes & standards Experienced in discharging responsibilities under CDM and health and safety regulations Comprehensive and current detailed knowledge base of all aspects of civil and structural design, including some of the following: Building Structures Drainage and external works Foundations & Sub-Structures Earthworks and site investigations Minor road and bridge design Specialist knowledge or sector expertise (eg nuclear, seismic, public sector, contaminated land, ground improvement, highways, Rail, defence & Life Sciences) Demonstrable track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction Experience of significant project delivery within some of the sectors we operate within Fully familiar with relevant technical standards and assurance processes Proven ability to work within a fully integrated, multi-discipline design team Why Join Us?
