Principal Cloud Engineering Consultant
London (Hybrid) | £90,000–£100,000 + Bonus
We're working with a specialist cloud consultancy undergoing significant growth and looking to appoint a Principal Cloud Engineering Consultant.
This is a senior role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to influence cloud strategy, lead complex engagements, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. You'll play a key role in shaping client outcomes while remaining technically credible and closely connected to delivery.
What you'll be doing
- Leading large-scale cloud transformation and modernisation programmes
- Advising senior stakeholders on cloud strategy, architecture, and operating models
- Providing technical leadership across complex cloud engagements
- Supporting solution design, delivery oversight, and client success
- Driving best practice in platform engineering, automation, and cloud operations
- Mentoring consultants and helping shape the organisation's technical capability

What we're looking for
- Significant experience delivering cloud transformation programmes
- Deep expertise across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Strong knowledge of platform engineering, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience operating as a trusted advisor to senior technical and business stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and a consulting mindset
- Ability to lead complex engagements and influence strategic decisions
