Your role at Dynatrace

What’s the role?

Dynatrace is seeking a high-energy Cloud Native Specialist to serve as the technical vanguard for modern infrastructure environments across EMEA. This is a specialized overlay role focused on the intersection of Platform Engineering, Kubernetes (K8s), and Multi-cloud strategy. You will partner with our Global Sales and Customer Success teams to help organizations navigate the complexities of "day-2" operations in containerized environments, ensuring they achieve full-stack observability across dynamic, ephemeral architectures.

Core Responsibilities

Cloud Native Domain Expertise:

  • Act as the technical "Subject Matter Expert" (SME) for all things Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) and container orchestration.
  • Demonstrate how Dynatrace provides automated, code-level visibility into microservices without manual instrumentation or sidecar overhead.
  • Advocate for OpenTelemetry (OTel) integration and explain how Dynatrace extends the value of open-source telemetry in a production-grade environment.

Domain Execution:

  • Lead technical discovery and high-stakes Proof of Concepts (POCs) specifically targeting "Born-in-the-Cloud" accounts or legacy enterprises undergoing digital transformation.
  • Build "Cloud-Native ROI" models, illustrating how automated observability reduces "Kubernetes Tax" (the operational overhead of managing K8s at scale).
  • Support the sales team in positioning Dynatrace against niche cloud-native tools by highlighting our AI-driven root cause analysis.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
