WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The Commercial Partnerships Principal is a key commercial role within SimCorp’s Global Partnerships team. This position is responsible for turning agreed partner priorities into repeatable commercial offers, sponsorship frameworks, and partner-facing programme structures. Working closely with regional partnership leads and the Global Head of Commercial Partnerships, this role drives the commercialisation of partner programmes through sponsorship design, contract negotiation, and cross-functional coordination — delivering a consistent and scalable commercial approach across all consulting partner engagements globally.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Commercial Design and Sponsorship Execution

  • Design and maintain the partner sponsorship frameworks and commercial models, in close collaboration with the Events team.
  • Build partner-related sponsorship packages, commercial options, and supporting offer materials for partner programmes.
  • Share sponsorship packages with prospective partners and act as the commercial point of contact on package-related queries.

Partner Commercial Discussions and Contracting

  • Conduct calls with partners to discuss sponsorship options and commercial participation.
  • Lead partner sponsorship negotiations globally.
  • Manage legal and contract negotiations related to consulting sponsorships and issue contracts for signature.
  • Handle last-minute package additions and ad hoc commercial requests linked to consulting sponsorships.

Regional Deployment Support

  • Support regional partnership leads by providing standard commercial frameworks, sponsorship packages, and repeatable tools for partner programmes and events.
  • Help ensure commercial consistency across partner programmes and events deployed in Global, Americas and APAC contexts.
  • Provide input into pricing, packaging, and standardisation where partner programmes and events need consistent commercial treatment.
  • Support regional leads in owning named partner relationships alongside commercialisation of partner programmes and events.
  • Work closely with the broader team to support the execution of partner events beyond Summit programmes (e.g. roundtables, partner-hosted events), ensuring consistent approach, positioning, and delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
