Our Elevating Health Strategy
Our Elevating Health strategy aims to advance global health over the next five years by making care more preventive, precise, accessible, and impactful. We leverage our expertise across the healthcare continuum and strong partnerships to deliver transformation programmes in the NHS and private sector, helping providers address operational challenges and achieve long-term improvements.
About the Role
Now, we are seeking a Principal Healthcare Consultant to join our Great Britain and Ireland Value Advisory Services team, specialising in diagnostic imaging and treatment, and leading high-quality projects that enhance patient care, service efficiency, and outcomes.
You’ll join a dynamic team working side-by-side with sales, operations, digital and global consulting colleagues to deliver transformation programmes across the NHS and private providers.
Much of your work will be delivered through our long-term value partnerships, giving you the opportunity to help customers to address live operational challenges and design and implement long-term strategic transformation.
Your Role
- To support the Head of Consulting in designing outcome-based operational and strategic programmes, listening to customers to ensure we address their pain points e.g. addressing elective waits, managing acute demand, improving prevention and diagnosis pathways, closing workforce gaps, increasing revenue or reducing costs
- To provide outstanding day-to-day assignment management to ensure our customers experience high quality engagement, outputs and outcomes, on time and within budget, enhancing our trusted advisor reputation
- To bring your healthcare knowledge, skills and experience to further develop our consulting offer across radiology, stroke, oncology, cardio-vascular and neuro-degenerative patient pathways
- To apply your inquisitive and collaborative approach to ensure our customers and their patients benefit from the full range of technology, services and value-add support we offer
- To work with sales and operational colleagues to shape long-term value partnerships that combine our technology and value-add services with customer strategic objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
