Principal Recruitment Consultant

Birmingham (Hybrid - 3 days at home, 2 days in the office)

Competitive base + uncapped commission

Lead your market. Build influence. Be recognised for your expertise.

This is a senior, high impact role for consultants who want true ownership of their market and the opportunity to operate as a recognised expert.

At Experis, Principals work on complex, high value engagements, shape client strategy and build long term partnerships, supported by a global Talent & Technology Solutions platform.

Your market: Data & AI

You’ve developed real expertise in Data markets, and you understand the architecture decisions, the tooling landscape and the difference between organisations that are genuinely data-driven and those still working out what that means. At Experis, you’ll partner with clients building out modern data capability across engineering, analytics and governance, bringing the market knowledge that makes those conversations credible and the relationships that make them stick.

Why Experis?

Our solutions-led model enables Principals to operate beyond transactional recruitment, delivering strategic workforce outcomes through Contingent Workforce (interim & permanent technology talent), Academy, Project Solutions, Managed Services and global delivery capability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
