Principal Consultant / Account Director - Strategy, Transformation & Reporting

Department: Strat, Trans & Reporting : Advisory Location: UK - London

About the Role

We’re looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and commercially-minded Account Director with a passion for purpose and sustainability to lead our exciting, purpose-driven accounts.

You’ll act as an integral strategic partner for your clients, owning and managing the delivery of exceptional programmes across:

  • Strategic thinking
  • Brand innovation
  • Storytelling

Work may include:

  • Purpose positioning
  • Employee engagement
  • Sustainability strategy
  • Behaviour change programmes

You’ll collaborate with STaR’s specialist consultants—purpose, strategy, transformation, and sustainability reporting—acting as the client’s representative at Anthesis. Responsibilities include account development, relationship nurturing, new business development, and project delivery.

Reporting into a Client Director, you’ll manage either a single large account (£800K–£1M) or multiple smaller projects. Ideally, you’ll be a seasoned Account Director from agency backgrounds or a client/programme manager transitioning into an impact-led role. We seek a client whisperer—someone who excels in project management, account growth, and genuine relationship-building.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
