About the Role
Join Delta Capita’s Data, Technology, and AI (DTA) consulting team as a Principal Consultant, where your AI expertise will drive transformative solutions for financial services. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering innovative AI, automation, data platforms, and cloud solutions for our global consulting team in London.
Responsibilities
As a Principal Consultant, you will:
- Lead AI-focused client engagements, serving as the trusted advisor and primary liaison with customers.
- Deliver high-impact AI, data, and automation projects across financial services.
- Own account and project delivery, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
- Manage a team of consultants, fostering high performance and excellence.
- Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Pipeline management, including roll-offs, extensions, new opportunities, and pricing.
- Represent client interests in statements of work (SOWs) and contractual negotiations.
- Stay ahead of AI trends, regulatory changes, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to internal initiatives to advance AI expertise.

Requirements
Technical & Professional Expertise
✅ Deep AI knowledge – Experience with data foundations, model development, governance, and responsible AI in financial services. ✅ C-level advisory – Proven ability to guide senior stakeholders on agentic AI, generative AI, automation, and predictive analytics. ✅ Strong commercial & delivery acumen – Balanced leadership in both client and internal deliverables. ✅ AI consulting excellence – Experience driving Consulting AI expertise, influencing industry knowledge, and commercial strategies. ✅ Proven people leadership – Man-management experience with a track record of team success.
Financial Services Focus
✅ Deep understanding of market structures, products, and client lifecycle management. ✅ Strong capital markets knowledge – Familiarity with sell-side, buy-side, and market infrastructure.
Delivery & Change Management
✅ Led end-to-end AI engagements with estimation, planning, and client expectation management. ✅ Change management expertise across:
- Strategy
- Design & Analysis
- Project Management
- Build, Testing & Go-Live
