Principal Consultant - SAP SD, Intercompany S/4HANA
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Employment Type: Permanent Compensation: Competitive (including bonus)

About the Role
The Principal Consultant (SAP SD, Intercompany S/4HANA) will lead end-to-end design, configuration, and rollout of SAP S/4HANA order-to-cash processes. Key focus areas include order-to-cash, pricing, billing, intercompany processes, and logistics execution. The role also involves close collaboration with SAP GTS/Gobal Trade Services teams to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional SAP SD Expertise
- SAP SD mastery with a focus on S/4HANA
- Order-to-cash and intercompany process expertise, including SD/MM integration
- Deep knowledge of:
- Intercompany sales, STO (stock transport orders), cross-company billing, logistics execution
- Pricing, billing, shipping, and delivery processes
- Demonstrates experience with:
- End-to-end implementation and global rollouts
- Integration with MM, FI, and logistics execution

Technical and Process Leadership
- Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA SD functionalities:
- Order-to-cash processes
- Pricing procedures
- Billing types (including cross-company billing)
- Delivery processes (including logistics execution and copy controls)
- Define and drive intercompany process design, including STO and logistics execution
- Optimize shipping, transportation relevance, and fulfillment flows for multinational environments
- Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA SD functionalities:

Collaboration and Compliance
- Work with SAP GTS teams to enable compliant international trade processes (exports, compliance checks, embargo/sanction controls)
- Define and enforce global template configurations, ensuring adherence to standards and naming conventions
- Define WRICEF (Work Request, Change Request, Incident, Function Point, Enhancement) requirements and develop functional specifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Preferred background in Life Sciences, particularly Pharmaceutical vertical
- Multilingual Proficiency: Strictly English mandatory. Additional languages preferred
- Technical Depth: Experience in complex multi-country intercompany landscapes
