About The Team
You’ll join the EMEA Commercial Legal team, supporting UK & EMEA public sector customers. This team collaborates closely with Sales, Corporate Affairs, Compliance, Security, and Customer Success to drive compliant, scalable growth across:
- Central and regional/local government
- Higher education
- Social housing
- Health
Your role involves strategic public sector contracts and frameworks, regulatory compliance, and shaping routes to market.
About The Role
As the Principal Contract Manager – Public Sector (UK & EMEA), you’ll be the senior contract lead for our public sector portfolio, blending deep policy expertise with hands-on contract management and strategic deal work.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Design, optimise, and improve contract management systems and processes for UK & EMEA public sector customers.
- Maintain accurate, searchable records of strategic contracts/frastructures—covering risk, obligations, and renewals—while aligning closely with compliance and audit teams.
- Identify and assess opportunities in new public sector frameworks/contracts in UK & key EMEA jurisdictions and manage day-to-day engagements with bodies like UK public-sector commercial agencies.
- Ensure full compliance with contract obligations, including reporting, data returns, and audits.
- Track emerging procurement policy trends (e.g., social value, sustainability, modern slavery, prompt payment) and lead cross-functional work to implement and demonstrate compliance.
- ** Lead end-to-end contract management** of key UK public sector deals, including UK Government’s Matrix Contract for Workday.
- drive public sector growth across EMEA—establishing transparent processes and playbooks for compliant, high-value sales. Share best practices, tools, and guidance to strengthen contract management strategies globally.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in contract management, commercial leadership, or related fields, with a focus on public sector work.
- Proven success in building and enhancing contract management/collaboration frameworks, with a track record for audit and compliance readiness.
- Strong understanding of UK public sector procurement, including how policy translates into reporting, contractual, and regulatory obligations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with issues such as social value, sustainability, modern slavery, prompt payment, and wellbeing, along with experience embedding these principles into frameworks.
