Role summary

We are seeking a Principal CS&A Engineer to join our engineering team supporting major nuclear projects. This role involves delivering high-integrity civil and structural engineering solutions within a regulated nuclear environment, from design to construction and through-life support.

What you will be doing

Design & Engineering

  • Deliver civil, structural, and architectural designs for nuclear facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Technical Assurance

  • Conduct structural analysis, design reviews, and verification of engineering deliverables to meet nuclear regulatory expectations.

Project Delivery

  • Support project planning, interdisciplinary coordination, and timely delivery of CS&A work packages across design and construction phases.

Construction & Site Support

  • Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections, responding to RFIs, and resolving design issues.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Produce and review specifications, design reports, and calculations, ensuring alignment with nuclear site licence conditions and quality standards.

Formal qualifications or training

  • Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience delivering civil/structural designs in highly regulated environments (preferably nuclear, defence, or similar).
