Principal Data Engineer – London (Hybrid) | Python, dbt, Airflow, AWS
A fast-scaling PropTech business is redefining how data drives decisions across the organisation. They’re now seeking a Principal Data Engineer to act as the technical authority for their data platform - shaping long-term architecture, standards, and strategy.
This role goes beyond delivery. You’ll define the blueprint for a modern data ecosystem, lead complex architectural decisions, and set the engineering direction as the company scales.

What you’ll own
- Design and govern the architecture of a greenfield, enterprise-grade data platform
- Lead strategic technical decisions across modelling, orchestration, warehousing, and cloud infrastructure
- Partner with senior leadership to influence data strategy and roadmap
- Set engineering standards and guide future team formation
