Principal DSP Engineer | £70-80k | Cambridge
My client is looking for an expert to ensure best-in-class audio clarity, loudness, and performance.
Based in the heart of the Cambridge audio scene, this company is rapidly growing & pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of audio DSP.
Responsibilities:
- Design the complete acoustic path for new products to meet aggressive audio targets
- Implement, tune, and optimise DSP algorithms like noise suppression, echo cancellation

Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in audio product development, with a strong focus on micro-acoustics
- Deep understanding of electro-acoustic transducers
- Proven experience with acoustic simulation software (COMSOL, FEA)
- Proficiency in a programming/scripting language (MATLAB, Python) for data analysis

- Experience tuning DSP algorithms on embedded platforms
- Knowledge of RF/EMI shielding for audio circuits
- Familiarity with wireless protocols (DMR, P25, LTE)
