Senior Electrical Engineer — Sensors and Electronics

Warwick | £75,000 – £80,000 | Permanent | Relocation Package Available

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who can lead and inspire a small team of development engineers, with a strong background in electronics design for demanding vehicle or industrial environments. This could include sensor and instrumentation design, or broader vehicle electronics and systems integration experience gained at OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers such as JLR, Perkins, Caterpillar or similar. If you're someone who naturally brings people with you and has electronic hardware design experience for heavy vehicle, off-highway or industrial applications, we would very much like to hear from you.

This role is recruiting on behalf of a globally operating manufacturer of precision fluid level sensing systems, part of a large multinational group with manufacturing facilities across the UK, USA, Europe and Asia. Their products are deployed in some of the world's most demanding heavy vehicle and off-road environments, supplying major OEMs across construction, agriculture, heavy truck, mining and industrial markets.

This is a newly created senior role at their UK site near Coventry. You will lead and develop a small team of development engineers, playing a key technical role in sensor product design, working across development from electronics architecture through to production launch.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
