Are you an experienced Lead electronics engineer looking for a role that combines technical leadership, product innovation and strategic influence?

This position will see you working for an established technology and product development business that helps global organisations develop innovative products across healthcare, medical, consumer and industrial markets.

This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering team in a senior position where you'll remain hands-on technically whilst taking a leading role in project delivery, team development and client engagement.

Unlike many engineering environments, this position offers the chance to influence the complete journey from early-stage concept development through to commercialisation and manufacture.

The Role

As a Principal Electronics & Software Engineer, you'll take ownership of technically challenging product development programmes, providing leadership throughout the development lifecycle whilst remaining actively involved in electronic and embedded software design.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
