Principal Engineer
Tech Principal
Location: London - 2 days onsite Start Date: ASAP (October) Work Type: Outside IR35 - rate depending on experience
I'm working with a leading consultancy who are in need of a Tech Principal to come in for a short contract supporting the build of an exciting digital product.
They're seeking a high-caliber professional who balances solution architecture, technical leadership, and consulting. You'll work across web, mobile, and AI products.

- Previously served as a Principal Engineer, Technical Architect, or Solutions Architect
- Demonstrated versatility across mobile, web, and AI product development
- Works in a consultancy or agency environment
- Proficient in:
- APIs and Cloud Architecture (preference for AWS)
- Typescript (preference), Java, or .NET
- DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- AI/LLM integrations
- Mentoring and coaching
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
