About the team
At OSB Group, we are continuing to invest in our technology platforms to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support our growth ambitions. We are now recruiting for a Principal Engineer - Salesforce to drive the development and evolution of our Salesforce-based CRM platform.
This is a pivotal role combining deep technical expertise in Salesforce with strong delivery capability. You will shape the engineering strategy and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure CRM solutions supporting key business domains including lending, savings, broker journeys, and customer servicing. Salesforce plays a central role in our customer platform, enabling seamless end-to-end journeys across acquisition, onboarding, and servicing.
These roles can be based from our Wolverhampton, Chatham, or London office, with occasional travel between OSB Group locations.
What you will be doing
As Principal Engineer - Salesforce, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the Salesforce CRM platform, ensuring it supports end-to-end customer journeys through scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned to business and technology objectives.
Responsibilities will include:
- Define and execute the Salesforce / CRM engineering strategy aligned to business and technology goals
- Design and deliver solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud
- Deliver core CRM capabilities including customer management, lending and savings workflows, broker journeys, and servicing
- Own end-to-end delivery including design, build, testing, release, and platform operations
- Establish Salesforce architecture covering data models, security, and integration patterns
- Drive integration with core banking, payments, and external systems using API-led and event-driven approaches
- Implement DevOps, CI/CD, and testing practices to ensure quality, resilience, and compliance

- Base salary between £90,000 - £100,000 dependant upon experience

Do you have the skills?
We're looking for individuals with the following experience and knowledge:
- Significant experience in a senior technical role within banking or financial services
- Extensive experience designing and delivering Salesforce solutions within complex, regulated environments
- Proven track record of building CRM platforms supporting financial products (e.g. lending, savings), ideally including nCino or similar ecosystems
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, security, and integration patterns (APIs, event-driven)
- Strong experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, with CI/CD and quality engineering practices
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable CRM solutions and engage effectively with stakeholders
