Job Description

Our Board & Executive Talent Team enables us to deliver on our mission by ensuring we have the best leaders for our current & future needs.

We’re looking for an experienced Executive Recruiter to join us. You’ll partner with our senior leaders to hire exceptional engineering, product, data and design leaders who will shape the future of Wise.

What you’ll do

  • Own and drive executive search strategies for critical leadership roles globally.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on candidate requirements, market dynamics, and search strategy.
  • Develop inclusive search strategies to identify and engage exceptional leadership talent.
  • Assess executive talent, identifying leaders who will thrive in Wise’s environment and have a meaningful impact on our business.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape hiring and succession strategies.
  • Build long-term relationships with executive talent, maintaining external leadership pipelines.
  • Guide candidates through our hiring process, delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Negotiate and close executive offers.
  • Partner with talent development leads and people partners to develop strategies to minimise succession risks, build external succession pipelines, and maintain long term relationships with passive candidates.
  • As a recognised expert in your field, you will develop a trusted advisor relationship with hiring managers and key stakeholders across our people and recruitment teams.
  • You will use market & competitor intelligence, to ensure that we identify, target, and engage with key talent.
  • You’ll continuously advocate our inclusive hiring practices and help drive our diversity sourcing initiatives.
  • Acting as a mentor to others, you will seek growth and share what you learn.
  • We are a fast growing team and company. You will be expected to lead and contribute to broader talent initiatives across the organisation.

The experience, background, and competencies needed to succeed in this role

  • You are an experienced executive / senior leadership recruiter with a proven track record of leading complex end-to-end leadership searches, including search strategy, market mapping, direct sourcing, executive assessment, stakeholder management, and offer negotiation.
  • You have significant experience recruiting senior leaders across engineering, product, data, and/or design within a product-led technology company, with particular expertise in engineering leadership recruitment.
  • You have recruited senior engineering leaders (Director, VP, or C-level) across multiple geographies and understand how product-led technology organisations are structured.
  • You have in-house executive recruitment experience within a product-led technology company. Experience combining search firm and in-house executive recruitment is highly desirable, with a proven ability to operate as a trusted adviser inside a business.
  • You consistently deliver an exceptional experience for candidates.

We support flexible working. During your onboarding you’ll spend more time in our London office, to build relationships across the business. Once established, you’ll typically spend around three days a week in the office.
