Your role:
As a Principal Front End Developer you will lead the development of scalable and secure web applications for global financial clients using modern JavaScript frameworks, primarily React. You'll architect responsive, accessible and elegant user interfaces and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative digital experiences.

As a senior technical leader, you'll mentor others, influence front end strategy and drive best practices. You'll join a collaborative team with a focus on engineering best practice and continuous improvement of client systems; you will have lots of business and client exposure, leading projects and providing expertise.
Location / WFH:
There's a hybrid work from home policy with three days a week in the London, City office (or at client sites), you'll join a friendly, diverse, upbeat team.
About you:

- You have experience within a financial services or Fintech environment
- You have strong React, JavaScript / TypeScript experience
- You have experience with modern CSS techniques (Flexbox, Grid) and frameworks like SASS, Material UI and Bootstrap
- You have experience with Redux, Webpack and modern testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha or Enzyme
- You have a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle, and are familiar with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
- You're collaborative, enjoy problem solving and interacting with clients
