Description

About Xe

Xe is a cross-border payments platform. We help SMEs and consumers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand collect, convert, hold, and send money across markets. Each year, over 300 million people use Xe for currency information and over 350,000 use us to send money overseas.

Today, we're rebuilding the platform layer behind cross-border payments for corporate and consumer clients. We're small enough that your code ships fast and your decisions matter, and Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq: EEFT) backs us so the problems stay real-scale.

About This Role

We're looking for a senior frontend engineer to help build and shape the user-facing side of our products. You'll bring deep expertise in modern frontend development, a strong sense of clean architecture, and a collaborative mindset. Beyond writing high-quality code, you'll mentor other developers, drive technical direction, and work closely with designers and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, polished interfaces. This is a hands-on role for someone with at least five years of experience who takes ownership of code quality and enjoys raising the bar for the whole team.

If you're proficient in Vue 3+, that's ideal, but we're equally interested in strong React or Angular engineers who are excited to make the switch. Experience in payments, FX, or other regulated industries is a plus.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain high-quality, maintainable frontend applications using Vue 3+ and TypeScript.
  • Architect scalable frontend solutions with clean code practices.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality across the team.
  • Mentor fellow developers on best practices, architecture, and clean coding habits.
  • Style and build responsive, accessible interfaces using modern Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Write and maintain unit & integration tests with Vitest.
  • Work with modern build tooling and bundlers such as Vite.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to translate UX/UI concepts into visually appealing, intuitive experiences.
  • Partner with engineers and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to and helping guide the team's technical decisions.
  • Leverage AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Copilot to work more effectively.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, helping align both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
