Enpure Ltd - Principal Mechanical Engineer
Enpure Ltd are a progressive organisation in water and wastewater services and are looking to recruit a self-motivated and engaging Principal Mechanical Engineer with strong analytical skills and experience in technical design, delivery and management of water and wastewater engineering projects.

Your New Role
Lead and contribute on feasibility, outline and detailed design projects.
You will be responsible for the design of mechanical installations, typically including municipal water and wastewater treatment works, pumping stations, ventilation systems, penstocks and valves, odour control systems, chemical dosing systems, pipework etc.
Other Duties To Include
- Interface with clients and collaborators in design and planning
- Carry out visits to site to complete site surveys and the support of liaisons with clients, government authorities, contractors, suppliers.
- Integrate with other disciplines within the business and external to agree and confirm a desired design
- Support bidding and be proactive in the winning of work.
- Be tasked with delivering to an agreed budget, programme and quality
- Take ownership of specific 'skill areas' or activities within our technical knowledge networks.
- Supporting and mentoring, and provide technical input which may serve as technical advisor to the team
- Seek innovation and trial new methods, being inquisitive by nature
- Provide input to the development of engineering specification and procedures to meet requirements.
- Opportunity to present your project work at company meetings or at conferences
- Working with and developing our digital tools and products.

Qualifications And Experience
- Degree-qualified with a mechanical engineering bias
- Extensive UK water/wastewater industry experience.
- A blend of leadership and technical expertise.
- Experience of managing and mentoring teams and/or individuals and/or projects, potentially split across disciplines and locations.
- A desire to assist in developing a team of junior engineers.
- A developing external profile and reputation; a desire and willingness to raise the profile of oneself and the Company.
- Willingness to contribute to and develop our technical knowledge networks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Water and wastewater treatment project experience across feasibility, outline, detailed design, construction support extremely desirable
- Experience using a 3D Design tool and other proprietary software products
- Chartered member of a recognised engineering institution
