Job Description:

About The Role

Are you passionate about shaping the future of mobile security? At BlackBerry, we are looking for a Principal Mobile Security Expert to act as a technical leader and strategic guide for our mobile security division. In this role, you will seamlessly blend strategic thinking with hands-on practice. Rather than acting as a solitary gatekeeper, you’ll be a collaborative partner—working closely with a talented team to secure our most critical assets. If you love diving deep into code to solve complex challenges while also shaping high-level security architecture, you will thrive here.

Your Impact

You won't just set the standards; you will champion them by leading by example. You will guide the security assessments for our trusted mobile solutions, ensuring our applications remain resilient against emerging threats. Working collaboratively with engineering teams and external approval authorities (such as the BSI), you’ll help translate complex security requirements into actionable, innovative protocols that drive our products forward.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
