About the Role
As Principal Officer for EV Infrastructure, you will:
- Plan, deliver, and innovate Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Nottinghamshire.
- Collaborate with local authorities, government bodies, network operators, and private sector partners.
- Shape EV policies and secure funding for initiatives.
- Manage contracts, procurement, budgets, and performance reporting under regulatory compliance.
- Represent the Council at events, driving EV adoption and community awareness.

What You’ll Bring
Core Requirements
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Strong project management skills, preferably with PRINCE2 or Agile certifications.
- Knowledge of local government operations and stakeholder management.
- Experience in complex project and contract management.
