Principal Operational Resilience Consultant
Salary: £85,000 - £105,000 + £5,500 Car Allowance + 15% Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits
Location: London hybrid
The Opportunity
A leading global innovation and transformation consultancy is looking to hire experienced Operational Resilience Consultants to join its growing Risk & Resilience practice.
You'll work with some of the UK's largest organisations across Financial Services, Government, Energy & Utilities, Healthcare and other highly regulated sectors, helping clients strengthen their operational resilience, respond to evolving regulation, and protect critical business services.
This is an opportunity to work on complex transformation programmes while helping clients design resilient operating models, improve governance, manage operational risk, and embed resilience across people, processes and technology.
The Role
As an Operational Resilience Consultant, you'll work closely with senior client stakeholders to assess, design and implement resilience strategies that improve organisational readiness and regulatory compliance.
You'll support clients across a range of resilience disciplines including:
- Operational Resilience
- IT Service Continuity
- Business Continuity Management
- Crisis Management
- Disaster Recovery
- IT Risk Management
- Third-Party & Supply Chain Resilience
- Technology Risk
- Security & Operational Risk

You'll also contribute to business development, thought leadership and the continued growth of the Operational Resilience capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Operational Resilience engagements for clients across multiple industries.
- Assess end-to-end business services and identify resilience risks and vulnerabilities.
- Design target operating models and resilience frameworks.
- Support clients in meeting regulatory expectations and improving governance.
- Conduct operational risk and resilience assessments across technology and business functions.
- Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and present recommendations.
- Develop resilience strategies covering people, process, technology and third-party dependencies.
- Contribute to proposals, client presentations and practice development initiatives.
- Produce high-quality client deliverables and executive-level reporting.

Skills & Experience
We're looking for consultants with experience in several of the following areas:
- Operational Resilience
- Business Continuity Management
- IT Service Continuity
- Disaster Recovery
- Crisis Management
- Technology Risk
- IT Service Management
- Operational Risk
- Security
- Third-Party Risk
- Supply Chain Resilience
- Risk Management
Experience with frameworks such as:
- ITIL
- COBIT
- ISO standards relating to resilience, information security or service continuity
Professional certifications such as BCI, DRI, CISSP or IRM would be advantageous. Experience within Financial Services or another regulated environment would also be beneficial.
