Principal Partner Manager (EMEA Security Focus)
We are looking for an experienced Principal Partner Manager to build and accelerate growth with our top security-focused channel partners across EMEA. Our mission is to foster strategic partnerships that drive new customer adoption and revenue growth.
About the Role
Build channels and alliances that create measurable impact through customer acquisition and business expansion for Datadog in observability & cloud security.
This high-growth opportunity allows you to partner with a world-leading cloud software company and pave the way for enterprise adoption and scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop Datadog’s most valuable cloud security-focused channel partner relationships
- Drive revenue growth through net new sales and expansion opportunities with strategic partners
- Recruit and onboard new partners aligned with Datadog’s Ideal Partner Profile
- Oversee Datadog Partner Agreement (DPA) processes, collaborating with legal teams as needed
- Develop joint solution and service offerings with partners and integrate them into the go-to-market motion
- Enable and activate partners via training, sales planning, and joint selling initiatives
- Coordination of technical & marketing aspects of partnership launches
- Host monthly business reviews to ensure accountability and measure partner success
- Generate pipeline and revenue by identifying and developing partner-sourced sales opportunities
Ideal Candidate Requirements
Experience & Background:
- 5+ years in partner-facing, sales-driven roles within cybersecurity &/or cloud security SaaS
- Proven ability to identify, pursue, and close strategic revenue opportunities while building long-lasting partnerships
- Hands-on experience with major cloud hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Technical aptitude to rapidly grasp observability, cloud security architecture, and other complex technical concepts—ability to translate to key stakeholders
- Proficient in MEDDIC (discovery framework) and a strong command of Datadog’s positioning
- 30–40% travel required across EMEA region

Skills & Personal Trademarks:
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (additional European languages are advantageous)
- Strong ability to establish trust-based relationships with executives
