Early-stage, $50M-backed hardware startup
(50 people, 90% engineering) building modular systems that turn CO2 and water into synthetic fuel — direct air capture, electrolysis, and reactor synthesis, all in one integrated plant. Backed by world-class investors including the Collisons.
Own process engineering end-to-end:
novel architecture design through construction and commissioning. You'll lead HAZOP/FMEA process safety at multi-megawatt scale and shape the design philosophy as the company scales 1000x over the next two years.

What we need:
- Designed, built, and commissioned first-of-a-kind process plants
- Experience with HAZOP, FMEA, and process safety leadership
- End-to-end process design from concept through deployment
- Experience with gas processing, electrolysis, or carbon capture systems
- Background at a hardware startup or fast-paced novel-tech company
- Chemical engineering degree (BEng/MEng)
