About The Role
This is a pivotal role where you will not only guide end-to-end product design for our most complex areas but also act as the chief architect of our user experience strategy. You will help us bridge the gap between design, engineering, and product management, ensuring a cohesive, accessible, and highly scalable experience across our platform.
Our team strongly believes in user-centered design and the power of a unified user experience. As a Principal Product Designer, you will balance business strategy with deep user empathy to solve complex problems. You will serve as a strategic partner and mentor, fostering an environment where diverse perspectives and collective greatness are the driving force behind innovation and problem-solving.

Moving beyond component-level execution, you will define the overarching product workflows, AI-interaction paradigms, and service-level experiences that empower our users and internal teams. You will lead initiatives autonomously, holding cross-functional partners accountable and driving strategic initiatives that result in significant business impact.
What You'll Do
Drive the North Star Vision: Define and socialize the long-term UX strategy for Q4's AI-driven Platform and suite of products, aligning it closely with business objectives. Lead Complex End-to-End Design: Contribute to the design process from discovery to delivery for our most complex product areas, acting as the voice of the customer. Strategic Partnership: Work closely with the product triad (Product Management, Engineering, and Product Design) to drive continuous discovery. Shape AI Interactions: Lead the charge in designing how users interact seamlessly and intuitively with Q, the first AI-powered Investor Relations Officer (IRO) agent and all our AI-powered features. Data-Driven Influence: Working closely with our data team, regularly analyze product performance data to inform and prioritize design efforts, demonstrating the quantitative impact of design decisions. Evangelize Research: Working closely with our user researcher, plan and execute autonomous research using multiple qualitative and quantitative methods to validate product features and strategic direction. Mentorship and Culture: Collaborate with and mentor other product designers, lead by example to force-multiply team capabilities. Workshop Facilitation: You will facilitate workshops that encourage collaboration and support the development of the product design team's overall culture.

Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of experience in UX or product design, with a proven track record operating at a Principal, Staff, or highly senior strategic level. Experience with Consumer, B2B, and enterprise software design is highly preferred. Visionary Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates massive business impact, showing how you have navigated extreme ambiguity to define successful product visions from scratch. AI Expertise: Deep familiarity with AI-powered products and designing user interactions with AI. Leadership & Communication: Superior communication skills to effectively articulate design decisions to senior leaders and build consensus. Process Mastery: Proven experience leading user-centered design methodologies and working in a continuous discovery and Agile environment. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the FinTech, SaaS, or Investor Relations industries is a strong bonus. Accessibility Advocacy: Deep understanding of Accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to bake them into product strategy.
It's a bonus if you have
Experience in the FinTech, SaaS, or Investor Relations industries. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/React (to better communicate with engineers). Deep understanding of Accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to bake them into a design system. Familiarity with AI-powered products and designing user interactions with AI. Experience with Consumer, B2B, and enterprise software design.
