Principal Product Manager, Document Domain
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Product Manager, Document Domain based in United Kingdom.
The Principal Product Manager, Document Domain will lead the strategy and evolution of next-generation document experiences within a fast-growing SaaS environment. This role focuses on transforming how users create, collaborate on, and complete documents through intuitive workflows and AI-powered capabilities.
You will own a critical product domain, shaping experiences that combine structured content, collaboration, automation, and intelligent assistance. Working across product, design, engineering, AI, and platform teams, you will translate complex opportunities into scalable solutions with measurable customer impact.

Accountabilities
As the Principal Product Manager, Document Domain, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of core document experiences while driving alignment across multiple teams. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading high-impact product initiatives across document creation, authoring, collaboration, and completion workflows.
- Defining and executing the long-term product strategy for modern document systems, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical opportunities.
- Designing cohesive end-to-end document journeys that help users move seamlessly from initial drafts to finalized agreements.
- Integrating AI capabilities into document experiences, including intelligent authoring, content refinement, automation, and workflow optimization.
- Partnering closely with design, engineering, AI, and platform teams to develop scalable APIs, integrations, and data models.
- Collaborating with senior product leaders to ensure consistent and connected experiences across the broader product ecosystem.
- Using customer insights, product analytics, experiments, and prototypes to continuously improve product outcomes.
- Driving product discovery and iteration through AI-assisted tools, rapid experimentation, and user feedback.
- Guiding multiple squads by providing clear priorities, strategic direction, and strong execution discipline.
- Shaping the future architecture and capabilities of the Document Domain to support evolving AI-driven workflows.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring extensive product leadership experience, strong technical understanding, and a passion for building AI-enhanced user experiences. Required qualifications include:
- 7+ years of hands-on product management experience, ideally within B2B SaaS, productivity, collaboration, content, or document platforms.
- Proven experience owning complex user-facing product domains from strategy and discovery through delivery and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of document systems, structured content, and cross-format editing experiences such as PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or AI-generated content.
- Demonstrated experience launching AI-powered product features, including defining user experiences, rollout strategies, and measuring adoption.
- Ability to integrate AI capabilities into workflows with a focus on meaningful customer outcomes rather than standalone features.
- Experience using prototypes, experiments, analytics, and AI-assisted tools to accelerate product discovery.
- Strong AI fluency, including the ability to use AI for analysis, automation, prototyping, and workflow improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts, align stakeholders, and drive decision-making.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with a pragmatic, execution-focused approach.
- Comfortable collaborating with technical teams on system architecture, APIs, integrations, and platform limitations.
