About Bolt

Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.

From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.

And we're just getting started.

Why join Bolt?

  • Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
  • Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
  • Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
  • Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.

About The Role

This is not a traditional program management role. You’ll personally design, build, and deploy AI tools, agents, dashboards, and decision systems, while also driving prioritisation, rollout, adoption, and governance across Rides.

This is an individual contributor (IC) role with high ownership and no direct reports. It’s built for someone eager to build, own, and deliver real change in a complex operational environment.

Please note, that relocation support to London is not provided for this position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Personally build and deploy AI tools, agents, dashboards, and decision-support systems for Rides Operations, taking solutions from prototype to production-ready use.
  • Identify high-friction operational problems across markets and turn them into scalable AI solutions that improve cost, efficiency, reliability, and growth.
  • Work independently with internal data, APIs, LLMs, and automation frameworks, shipping usable tools with minimal reliance on Engineering, Data, or Product support.
  • Drive solutions end-to-end: problem definition, prioritisation, build, pilot, rollout, adoption, and iteration.
  • Create clear decision materials for leadership, highlighting trade-offs, risks, ROI, and operational impact.
  • Define guardrails and governance for responsible AI use to ensure solutions are explainable, compliant, and aligned with long-term platform standards.

About You

  • You have demonstrated hands-on experience personally building and deploying applied AI solutions, such as AI agents, workflow automations, dashboards, or decision-support tools.
  • You are comfortable using Python, SQL, APIs, LLMs, and automation/workflow tools to build MVPs and production-lean solutions yourself.
  • You understand how to move from prototype to production, including reliability, monitoring, rollout, and iteration in real operational environments.
  • You can independently turn ambiguous business problems into structured execution plans and deliver measurable outcomes end to end.
  • You are effective with senior stakeholders and can align technical implementation with business priorities and operational goals.
  • You have experience working in scaled organisations where AI solutions are already live and embedded into core processes.
