### **About the Role**
The **Principal Project Manager (Technical Security)** will oversee the delivery of **Engineering and Operations Technical Security projects**, ensuring they comply with regulatory standards,are delivered **on time, on budget, and to the highest quality**. Your responsibilities will include:
#### **Key Accountabilities**
- **Managed delivery**: Direct a portfolio of projects from **initiation to handover**, ensuring successful acceptance into service
- **Quality & compliance**: Lead the team through **Health & Safety regulations (including CDM 2015)** to meet legal and operational requirements
- **Financial oversight**: Drive **gross margin delivery**, managing lifecycle costs and stakeholder reporting
- **Process leadership**:
- Approve all **project initiation documentation** and **start gates**
- Review and manage **change requests**
- Uphold **training, engagement, and reporting standards**
- **Risk mitigation**: Resolve issues with **clients and account managers**, ensuring resources align with project needs
- **Team management**: Supervise **Senior Project Managers, team members, and contract personnel**

Requirements
Grand Professionals Competencies (GPCs)
- Leadership & development – Mentor teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Cooperation & accountability – Drive collaboration across stakeholders
Specific Skills & Qualifications
- Certifications:
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, APMP, or ISEB Certificate in Project Management
- Equivalent qualification demonstrated if certified PMI
- ** Experience**:
- Hands-on expertise in Health & Safety standards, especially CDM 2015
- Multi-disciplinary project experience in construction or security/IT operational environments
- Track record leading teams through design and project management processes
- Methodologies:
- Technical/financial management: Strong understanding of Oracle enterprise systems, financial controls, and metrics
- Framework knowledge of M_o_R®, MSP®, and M_o_V® tools – a plus
- Compliance & contracts:
- Familiarity with NEC3/4, GC Works, or FIDIC contracts
- Professional memberships (preferred):
- RIBA, RICS, ICE, IStructE, or CIBSE
- Operational experience:
- Desirable: Projects delivered in overseas locations
