The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturer of CNC Machined components to a range of sectors in Hertfordshire who are seeking a Principal Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to be joining a growing business and are seeking a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills to oversee the execution and continuous improvement of quality processes to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and internal standards.

The day to day duties include:
- Lead day to day quality engineering activities and provide mentorship to a close knit team
- Ensure ongoing compliance with AS9100, NADCAP and ITAR regulations
- Lead APQP, PPAP, control pans, FMEA’s and FAIR’s
- Lead high priority root cause investigations and corrective actions
What we are looking for:
- Expert knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP and ITAR quality standards and proficient in root cause analysis
- Trained AS9100 and NADCAP auditor
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and a strong understanding of quality tools
- 5 - 7 years in a quality role within Aerospace or Defence manufacturing
