Principal Quality Engineer
Principal Quality Engineer Department: Engineering Employment Type: Full Time Location: London / Edinburgh / Bristol
Description Oneiro Solutions and its Digital Loan Exchange (DLX) platform brings to market an entirely digital syndicated loan administration platform. Built on the latest technology standards, our platform removes the need for faxes and emails and provides a seamless collaborative and transparent experience for borrowers, lenders and agents alike throughout the lifecycle of a corporate loan. If working for an innovative fintech that aspires to be the global standard for the corporate and syndicated lending market (a multi-trillion dollar market) motivates you, then we want to talk to you.
As the Principal Quality Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our engineering team, responsible for driving the testing strategy and ensuring the highest standards of quality across the DLX platform. You will apply your problem-solving ability and technical skills to help financial organisations use DLX to drive a real impact in the world. While being hands-on with testing activities, you will also take a leadership role in shaping our testing processes, promoting automation, reducing cycle time, and exploring the integration of AI tools. You will work autonomously and freely raise ideas in an open and supportive environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
