About Switch
Switch is an established recruitment brand operating across the UK, Europe and the US. Technology sits at the heart of how we work, supporting the productivity, organisation and growth that have taken us a long way in a short space of time.
What sets us apart is how we see the job. We don't treat placements as transactions to close and move on from. We build relationships that clients value as a genuine partnership, and they come back to us because the service is worth coming back to.
We have a global footprint, and we're proud to be rooted in Shropshire.
The Role
We're looking for a Principal Recruitment Consultant with a strong background in the Logistics and Supply Chain sector to join us at an important stage of our growth.
This is a senior, autonomous role for someone who already knows this market well. You'll bring an established network and the instinct to spot and win new business, while delivering the consultative service that turns a first placement into a lasting client relationship.
You'll have the freedom to run your desk as if it were your own, backed by a team and a set of tools designed to take the friction out of your day so you can focus on what you do best.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We're Looking For
- Sector expertise. Proven, established experience recruiting within Logistics and Supply Chain, with a network you can put to work from day one.
- A real appetite for new business. You're proactive and commercially sharp, and you enjoy the challenge of opening doors and building something of your own.
- Self-disciplined and self-directed. You manage your own pipeline, hold yourself to a high standard, and don't need chasing to deliver.
- Ready for the next step. You're ambitious for your career and want to grow it somewhere that will back you to do exactly that.
How We Work
Our ambition has never been to have the biggest headcount. It's to make sure everyone here is properly supported by the people around them and equipped with the right tools to do their best work. We invest heavily in our team and in the technology that lets a focused, talented group achieve what would take many businesses two or three times the resource.
For you, that means joining a business where you're set up to succeed rather than stretched thin, and where your effort is amplified instead of swallowed up by admin. We're growing, we're hiring, and we want people who'll grow with us.

Location & Working Pattern
Our HQ is in Shropshire, and it's central to how we operate. We love having the team together and there's real value in that shared energy.
Hybrid working is our default, and we'd welcome you spending time with us in the office. For an exceptional candidate where regular travel to Shropshire isn't practical, we're also open to a remote arrangement with occasional visits to base. If you're the right person, we'll find a working pattern that suits, so don't let geography stop you from having the conversation.
What We Offer
- A highly competitive salary that reflects your seniority and experience
- An industry-leading commission scheme that rewards your performance
- Quarterly incentives
- EMI share scheme, giving you a real stake in the business you're helping to build
- Hybrid or remote flexibility built around you
