Principal RF Engineer - Surrey - up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits - REF 2011
I am currently recruiting for a Principal RF Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Surrey, but on a hybrid basis. Salary up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits.
The organisation has been established for over 30 years and are renowned for being the best at what they do within the defense and military sector on a global basis. They are a small yet specialist team employing around 50 people, but turnover is over £20 million annually with that figure set to continue moving upwards based on the ever-increasing demand for their products and systems.
To support the business with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans, they have the need to appoint a Principal RF Engineer on a permanent basis.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
