Principal Software Engineer

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our technology landscape. Using your deep technical expertise, you will design scalable solutions, influence architectural decisions, and solve complex business challenges. You will help raise engineering standards, drive innovation, and enable the delivery of reliable products that create real value for our customers.
About the role:
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable software solutions that support our products, customers, and future growth.
- Shape technical direction by making pragmatic architectural decisions that balance innovation, quality, and long term sustainability.
- Champion engineering excellence by raising standards, improving practices, and enabling teams to deliver high quality solutions.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and wider business teams to turn complex challenges into effective technology solutions.
- Raise the capability of the engineering team by sharing expertise, providing technical guidance, mentoring others, and demonstrating best practice in design, delivery, and problem solving.

The must haves:
- Proven experience delivering high quality software solutions within modern engineering environments.
- Strong technical expertise across Azure, C#, ASP.NET, React, APIs, and cloud based development.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
- A passion for innovation, with experience using AI tools to enhance software development.
- Strong understanding of secure development practices within SaaS or compliance driven environments.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
The nice to haves:
- Experience working with data migration, integrations, or complex data driven solutions.
- Experience within SaaS products and commercially focused technology environments.
