Role: Coding Expert (Multi-Language)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $15–$40/hour
About the Role
We are hiring for a Principal Software Engineer role, a contract position for one of our clients. The successful candidate will act as a Coding Expert (Multi-Language) to write, review, debug, and maintain code across multiple languages for cross-platform development projects. Collaboration with engineering teams will be key to implementing scalable systems and optimising existing codebases.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, JavaScript, Java, C++ or other relevant languages.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues spanning different programming environments and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and optimise performance.
- Follow best practices for version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and provide technical recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in at least two programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C++).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail in debugging and testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
