About the Job You're Considering:

This role operates at the intersection of sales, consulting, and delivery, acting as a senior technical and strategic partner to clients, sales teams, and delivery organisations. You will shape complex, enterprise-scale solutions that are commercially compelling and technically robust, while driving opportunity creation and supporting business growth.

As Principal Solution Lead, you will own and drive end-to-end solution outcomes, aligning architecture with client business strategy, enterprise principles, and long-term transformation objectives. You will engage early in the sales cycle as a trusted advisor, shaping deals, defining value propositions, and supporting successful delivery transitions. You will operate at a senior level across client organisations, influencing stakeholders, governing delivery, and identifying opportunities to expand engagements into broader transformation programmes. This includes contributing directly to pipeline growth, new client acquisition, and the development of AI-led and partner-enabled solutions.

You will be expected to act as a visible leader and thought partner, driving innovation, setting direction, and ensuring the successful positioning and execution of solutions in complex environments.

Hybrid Working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your Role:

  • Act as the overall solution owner, accountable for shaping, governing, and delivering end-to-end architecture across client engagements
  • Partner with sales teams, partners, and senior client stakeholders to shape, define, and win opportunities
  • Lead pre-sales solution development, including deal structuring, proposal leadership, and commercial positioning
  • Engage clients early as a trusted advisor, translating business challenges and transformation goals into scalable solutions
  • Define architecture, client requirements, and value propositions aligned to business outcomes
  • Drive pipeline growth and identify new business opportunities across accounts
  • Guide and govern delivery teams, ensuring effective implementation and successful transition from sales to delivery
  • Act as a bridge between commercial and technical teams, ensuring alignment across stakeholders
  • Lead enterprise-level solution architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security, scalability, and performance
  • Identify and drive transformation and technical evolution opportunities within client organisations
  • Connect Capgemini capabilities (AI, data, cloud, sustainability, partner ecosystem) into cohesive offerings
  • Lead governance forums, design authorities, and architecture reviews
  • Define and evolve architecture governance frameworks, operating models, and methodologies
  • Mentor and develop architects and technical teams, supporting capability growth
  • Contribute to thought leadership, innovation, and market positioning internally and externally

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
