Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer
Location: Loudwater
Salary: £DOE

We are on the search for a Principal Systems Engineer to work on cutting-edge maritime and underwater defence technologies delivering mission-critical capability to allied naval forces worldwide.
What you will be doing:
- Leading systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle
- Defining and managing complex requirements and traceability
- Developing secure system architectures and interface definitions
- Supporting integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities
- Collaborating with software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams
- Ensuring compliance with defence standards, safety, and security requirements

What we are looking for:
- Proven experience designing secure systems within Defence / MoD environments
- Strong Systems Engineering and requirements management expertise
- Experience with verification, validation, and system integration
- Familiarity with tools such as Jama, Jira, or MBSE methodologies
- Ability to work within highly regulated, security-conscious programmes

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC).
