About Lendable

Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:

  • One of the UK’s newest unicorns with a team of just over 700 people
  • Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK
  • Profitable since 2017
  • Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs
  • Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)

So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.

We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.

Join us if you want to

  • Take ownership across a broad remit. You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1
  • Work in small teams of exceptional people, who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo
  • Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting

The role

We’re looking for a Principal Talent Partner to join our growing Talent team, taking ownership of some of our most business-critical and complex hiring challenges. Partnering with senior leadership and the CEO Office, you'll own some of Lendable's most business-critical and high-profile searches, delivering exceptional talent across multiple functions.

From shaping hiring strategies and influencing executive stakeholders, to building talent pipelines in entirely new markets, you'll be a trusted advisor and hands-on operator. Whether it's a niche technical hire, a senior commercial leader, or an executive search, you'll bring the judgement, urgency and creativity needed to solve difficult hiring problems and deliver outstanding outcomes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partnering with the CEO office and senior stakeholders to shape hiring plans, challenge assumptions, and align talent strategies with business objectives
  • Leading complex, executive and business-critical searches end-to-end, from initial strategy through to offer negotiation and close
  • Building market-mapping strategies and talent communities for critical roles, often in new markets or functions, using market intelligence, deep sourcing and creative search techniques
  • Using data and insights to diagnose hiring challenges, improve process performance, and forecast delivery against hiring goals
  • Acting as a trusted ambassador for Lendable, selling both the role and the company to senior talent and building lasting relationships that feed future pipeline
  • Helping shape the future of Talent at Lendable through process improvement, experimentation, and thoughtful adoption of AI and emerging technologies

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
